Hello, hello, hello!!! My name is Zookie, also known as "The Life of the Par-tay!" I'm a 1 year old male cat. I've got brown fur, tabby markings, and lots of energy. I didn't have the happiest of kittenhoods, so I'm making up for lost time! My earliest memory is of huddling in a shopping cart at a Home Depot. I was really scared to be alone and a busy parking lot is no place for a young kitty! I don't know how I would have survived if it hadn't been for some very kind customers and store staff who realized I'd been abandoned. They gathered me up and brought me here to the Adoption Center. Now I have a chance to find a home and I couldn't be more excited about it!

 

I'm looking fort a home with a human who will have time to play with me and let Zookie be Zookie. I love to stalk toys, and chase toys, and of course, catch toys! I do like to be loved on, just in small doses to start so I don't get overwhelmed. I'm a little scared of the little kids I've seen in the Adoption Center and would prefer a family of grown-ups. They seem to understand my cat language way better than the young ones do. I might enjoy having a canine friend to play and wrestle with if you've got one of those around. I'm not go, go, go all the time though-Even I with all my zany antics do like a quiet moment or two. That's when I take a cozy nap in the sun or just watch what's going on outside my window.
