Hi! My name is Amelie! I was found by Feline Rescue at Animal Control where I had been separated from my momma, Geniveve. I hated being separated from her so I was so happy to hear that Feline Rescue would make sure we were adopted together, as a bonded pair, and that we would be spending the rest of our lives together.

Now let me be honest with you, I’m a bit of a shy kitten- especially when my momma isn't around but my foster mom says I am becoming braver and more loving each day! When I first got here I would hide if someone even looked at me and now I am easily distracted by wand toys or glitter balls and I even like being pet if my mom is being pet too. I find a lot of comfort in my momma Geniveve- I still “nurse” off of her even though she hasn't had milk in a long time! I love cuddling her and will get so relaxed that I fall asleep with my tongue out all the time!

Also, I have mild Cerabellar Hypoplasia so I'm kinda wobbly but totally healthy! CH is a neurological disorder that effects a cat's fine motor skills, coordination and balance. CH cats live totally normal, long, happy and healthy lives! It does not require extra vet care, get worse with age, cause them any pain and it cannot spread to other animals or people. There are some things you can do to help CH kitties like having rugs or carpet so they have more traction or having a low entry litter box with high sides but my CH is mild so I'm doing just great with out anything special! Basically, I'm just a bit wobbly and sometimes I tip over but my foster mom thinks it makes for extra adorable and funny play times!

Thank you for reading about us! We cannot wait to meet you!

Amelie's and Genevieve's combined adoption fee is $235.
