Hi! My name is Gigli (pronounced "Gee-Lee" and I am a super good girl!.  My person always told me how much she loved me and what a good girl I was.  I even got to sleep with her every night.  Then something happened to her and I ended up in a place with lots of cats and people and activity.  I’d never been around other cats and this much activity before; it was really scary.  I hid in the back of my kennel and tried to look as strong and tough as possible.  And, I didn’t like those other cats; I guess they didn’t know how to act properly like a princess like I did.  Anyhow, I was at that place for a long time until a lady who is passionate about cats of a certain age offered to take me into her home so I could rest in a quiet, calm, and loving environment.

I like having my own room and the understanding and attention I’m now receiving, but what I’d really like is to have my very own home where I can explore everywhere, look out all the window, and lay on my very own person’s lap.  Although I haven’t seen them, I know there are other cats outside my room and even though my foster person spends as much time as possible with me, I’m longing for my very own person and to be a well-loved princess again.

I’m very petite and my foster mom says I have beautiful, big eyes.  She says it looks like I wear eyeliner.  I have tabby patches on a white background and very dainty feet.  I’m very proud of my pretty paws.  I’m tidy, use my litterbox, and keep my room nice.  I love being stroked along my back, my neck, my head, and my eyes.  I love falling asleep with my head in my foster mom’s hand.  I help her read by laying quietly on her lap.  For such a tiny girl, I’ve been told I have a big voice.  Guess I just want everyone to know when I’m hungry or when I want attention.  I’m especially good at letting my foster mom know when I want attention by rubbing my cheek on her hand.

My foster mom would like to keep me but I don’t want to live with other cats.  Since I’m an older girl, my dream come true would be to live in a quiet home with my special person.  Now that I’ve recovered from that noisy place, I’m longing to meet someone who will take time to get to know me and what a good girl I really am.

At least this way you can see that I am the perfect one to join you or your family as the newest member. Come visit me in my foster home. I'd love to meet you.
