Tony (officially “Antonio Valentino”) was born on Christmas day, 2002. He was given as a kitten to his mom, who clearly loved him and spoiled him terribly until she died in February of this year. Tony was initially very frightened and confused to suddenly find himself in new surroundings without the only person he had ever known and loved, but he’s made great strides in his foster home. Tony would do best with someone home a lot, as he craves constant attention. In the end, he just wants to be on your lap— all the time. On that note, Tony seems to prefer women (having lived alone with one for a long, long time). He likes his foster dad too, but he clearly prefers cuddles with his foster mom. Tony would do best in a quiet single or couple-household, with no children or dogs.
Although he was an only cat for 14 years, Tony gets along well with his three foster brothers— though he sometimes seems oblivious to their presence and will walk over them to get pets, or settle down for a nap right on top of someone already sleeping in “his” spot. It’s actually very charming. As long as his human is around all the time, as he was used to, Tony could definitely be an only cat. But, he has come to enjoy playing and being with other cats— specifically one of his gentler foster brothers. He’d be a wonderful companion to a quiet, older kitty like himself.
At least this way you can see that I am the perfect one to join you or your family as the newest member. Come visit me in my foster home. I'd love to meet you.
