Hello everyone, I'm Leroy Brown and I am so happy to be here! I had quite a journey to go through with Feline Rescue and I'm really proud of how far I've come. I'm a male chocolate point Siamese cat of about 1 year. When I was first found wandering outdoors, I was terrified. I couldn't stand for anyone to see me or touch me, so I burrowed into a cat cave and just hoped everyone would leave me alone. Lucky for me, the humans here didn't give up on me. They came and visited me every day, getting me used to their presence and their voices. Over time, I found the courage to let them come closer and even start to touch me. My biggest breakthrough came courtesy of my neighbor-cat, Jackson. While one of the patient humans was helping me get used to being petted, Jackson saw I was worried and came close so he could lick my forehead. If you ask the human, he'll tell you I visibly relaxed, knowing that another cat was there with me. Realizing that I was eager for kitty companions, the humans introduced me to new kitties so I would have friends and feel safe.

ow, you'd never be able to tell that I was once the biggest scaredy-cat of them all. My life is just so much better! These days, I love to have my chin scratched and people to pet my head. I look forward to visitors and am even training to be a lap cat. I can't say I actually like being picked up or carried - I mean, I am still a cat - but I'm learning to enjoy having a human nearby to interact with and feel confident enough to nudge their hands to let them know that I want attention. I finally feel ready to look for a forever home. I'd love to have that stability and comfort of a family and my very own humans to love. I have the potential to become quite the snuggly kitty as I grow up. I just need the right people to cuddle up to! Like I said, it has been quite a journey and I am so excited for this second chance. If you are looking to add a young cat to your home, I hope you'll stop by to visit with me. I can't wait to meet you! You can see that I am the perfect one to join you or your family as the newest member. I am FIV positive but can live with FIV negative cats.

If you'd like to know more about me, just stop in at the Adoption Center to meet me or leave a message for my human assistant at 651-642-5900 ext. 3. She'll call you back.

My adoption fee is $120.
