The name is Silver Bay because I’m – well, guess what – Silver – silver tabby, if you please – and I don’t want to be “Hi, Yo, Silver” and mistaken for a horse!"

"I am friendly, friendly, friendly. Like your feet, like your lap, like your stuff! Sniff! Smells like some good cat mischief to me. I am a Big Mister – that’s what I say – a Big Mister named Silver Bay. I purr. I love people. I want to play with people. Hey, person, play with me?"

" I am handsome with very gold eyes in my silver tabby mister face. I remember that, once, I had people who loved me. I know this because I really miss being loved and being loved back. Something happened. I’ve been out and about since last July and out and about without my front claws. That’s a long time with little self-defense – other than my speed and size."

"Other critters battered my once perfect ears. And some other, no doubt, nasty cat gave me the FIV. Now, I’m still healthy and handsome, but there’ll be no more out and about for this fabulous feline fellow. (I could have been a poet if I weren’t a cat.) And I need to live alone or only with other FIV cats. There are several more fellows like me here at Feline Rescue – looks like some nasty whomped some of their ears, too. Not nice!"

" Here’s my thing: I’m a sweetheart – an absolute sweetheart – who just loves people and wants to play. A big mellow cuddly Mister Fellow. Me – Silver Bay – your soon-to-be-forever-handsome Guy. Whatever happened in my recent past, I am still me, as adorable and fun as a still pretty darn young Big Mister can be."
