Don’t you just know, with a name like Carrots, there’s just got to be something carrot orange about me? Don’t worry – there is. I’m more orange tabby than I am anything else, but I have some well-placed white fur, too, just to keep me interesting. I am interesting. That I am. Mostly, though, I am a mellow, laid-back, serene, comfortable in my own fur cat.
We had a ruckus around here earlier – some black and white guys got into it. Me? I said, “Nope, I don’t think so,” and headed right up here and back in my bed. I like my bed. Come to think of it, I like you! I’ll wake up long enough to move my soft guy head right into your hand and fall back to sleep. Did anyone ever tell you that your hand is the perfect size for a Cat Pillow? Feel me purr. I purr and I purr and I purr. I will sleep and purr right through most mischief – unless, of course, it’s my own mischief. And I can do some if I choose.
Still feel that carrot cat purr? I hope so. I’m an easy fellow. Probably a flower child in a former life…”If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair….” I’m so naturally mellow that I don’t need catnip – not that if I had some, I would mind, understand that. I’m even OK with small dogs, fellow cats, and other moving objects. Well, maybe not vacuum cleaners – I have my limits.
I rather like being Carrots – suits my sweet and good-for-you self. I’d very much like to come live with you. I believe in peace and quiet and the goodness of cats. I believe in people who pet me and talk to me and tell me I’m handsome. Let me believe in you - $120 will net you Carrots forever. Cool. Very cool.
