NOTE: In the interest of serving as many cats as possible, Feline Rescue occasionally promotes cats being taken care of by our friends and supporters. The cat(s) in this posting are NOT Feline Rescue cats and any adoption that may occur is an arrangement strictly between two independent parties.
I haven't always had an easy life. Once I was a stray, living outside and raising kittens until a nice person came along and got us all inside to safety. My adorable kittens Duchess and O'Malley got adopted. Back then, I had no reason to trust people. I was scared and shy and wouldn't let my foster mom near me. That's all changed now. Snuggling in laps is just about my favorite thing to do! I'm so happy now that I purr almost constantly. I like to be held and even let my foster mom put clothes on me.
You can tell by the shape my ears are in that I spent plenty of time outside in the cold. Now I love living inside, where I can keep my pretty, white coat all soft and clean. You have to admit that my ears are distinctive, if not all there.
I’m sure that you’ll forgive me if I’m shy at first with new people. I’ve had a lot of reasons to be cautious in my life. But now that I don’t have to worry about a thing, I can focus on finding myself a forever home. Someplace with soft beds in the sun, good food, nice people, and plenty of toys sounds great. Besides snuggling, playing with toys is my other favorite thing to do!
I get along well with other cats, so I need to go home with another cat. I would like to be adopted with one of my friends from my foster home like Momo or Libby.
If you’ll give this shy kitty a chance, I will give you a chance too. For more information, call Molly at 651-295-3758 or email outreach@felinerescue.org
