“I’m little. I’m little. I’m black. I’m white. I’m white. I’m black. I’m young. I’m cute. And – I am a sweet thing. Just a sweet thing. All sugar, a little spice – I’m almost a kitten, almost a cat. And – I am a sweet thing. Sweet. Sweet. I love people. Come over here and love me. Oooh, yes.”

“Oh, yes, yes. You figured it out – I love it when a people scratches my chin, softly, gently, and with love. Oh, yes. I’d like to hire you for permanent chin scratching – and food serving – and overall loving and everything a little cat girl – black and white – needs.”

“Do I squeak? Well, occasionally, yes. But I have the sweetest, most polite squeak you’ll ever hear. You won’t hear it often – or very loudly – but, every now and then – ‘Squeeakk? Squeeakk?.’ It means, ‘Love me? Pet me? Notice me? Oh, and feed me!’”

“I like to roll over and stretch my legs and look at people from upside down. Girl cat is upside down. Girl cat is cute. Girl cat is sooo cute – and sooo sweet. I’m Squeaky. I’m little. And – I’m so sweet. A sweet thing.”

“My story? Not very exciting. I was born. I grew a bit – not a lot, but a bit. I realized I was in the world and very alone. I did not feel safe – not at all. I found me a porch – somebody’s house with a porch. And I lived under it. All by myself. I think people brought me food. It was not a good life. I am too sweet and too cute to live under a porch.”

“So I checked myself in here at Feline Rescue, and I said, ‘Please, oh, please, find me a real home. Find me a people or two with a good house. It’s fine if it has a porch, so long as I don’t have to live under it. I’d like to live in the house, please, with my people. I’d like my people to believe that I’m a sweet thing – because I am – and that I’m cute – because I am. All my people have to do is stop over with $120, and tell the good volunteers, ‘We’ve come for Squeaky. She’s cute – and she’s a sweet thing.’”
