“Wow! My life is changing so fast. First I was trapped in a mess of a house with entirely too many other cats. We couldn’t get out. We had no food, no water. I am not ashamed to say, not at all, that I was scared – full, furry, nice young cat man scared. Really scared.”

“Then along came these people. I’d say they were angels – but they didn’t have wings. Maybe angels take their wings off when helping cats? So we won’t mistake them for birds or bats? I don’t know, but there were several of them, and they gave me food and water. They even talked sweetly to me and brought me here. Just about more cat food than I’ve ever seen. Wow!”

“I looked at myself in the window up there. I said, ‘Hendrix, self, you are a handsome cat. Good dark tabby stripes, somewhat fluffy – handsome cat.’ Wow, again. I think I’ve found heaven – well, at least civilization. I think I’d like to have a real home with real people – and a nice long life! Wow – and Yow!”

“I’m young, and I’ve discovered I like people to pet me. I would like some special TLC because I’ve been through a lot. But I tell you, I have a good heart and a kind soul. I am watching, listening, studying every day. I know there is a place between chaos and order where good cats and good people live. I am working my way to that space, to balance, and to full cat essence.”
