Sleeps in Size Nine Shoe

“Hi! I’m small and perky and seriously lovey. I just love talking to people. So, let me tell you – I’m white and black, and I do a bit of bouncing. I’m living with these two mellow fellows who don’t bounce. They’re friendly and kind – like me – but they don’t bounce. I like bouncing with people! Why am I living with two guys who, frankly, are too big to bounce? Well, because we all tested positive for the FeLV. We’re healthy, but we have to be careful about our immune systems. Bouncing does not affect my immune system; I think it helps me build it up!”

“I’m told that, as cute as I am – well, I am, right? – I was homeless in north Minneapolis, just walking around trying to avoid becoming a mama. Animal control scooped me up and took me in. I knew I was in trouble, so when Feline Rescue’s angel team showed up, I put on my best charm, washed my little white feet, and said, ‘Meoooww! Rescue Me!’ I thank Bastet that it worked.”

“I call myself Nine because shoes that are size nine are just about right for sleeping in – if one is a small black and white kitty – or if one is a human foot. I’m not a human foot.  I also call myself Nine because that’s how many lives I plan to have because I’m a fine, cute, charming Cat. I’d like to share all those lives with you. I would.”

“More about me: Did I mention I talk a lot? I do. Also, I am a professional ankle decorator. Whatever outfit you’re wearing, I will decorate your ankles! I will go around and around and love on you. And I will trim your pants with black and white fringe. Socks! Oh, yes – your socks need white and black fringe. It’s the latest. Nine says so.”
