“Hi. Hello. I’m a good cat; I’m just a bit overwhelmed at the moment. I had people. They moved off and left me behind. Now, that’s rude! Then I got rescued. Then I came to Feline Rescue, and I’ve been moving around the building and traveling to see veterinarians, and, oh, my. I am just exhausted from all the new information and people and smells and places. So, pardon me, if I’m not quite ready to be all happy and dancy like the guy next door. I’d like it if you’d pet me, I really would.”

“People think I’m a guy cat, but I’m not – I’m a fine young woman. I know, most cats with orange tabbiness are guys, but, trust me, I am not a guy. Also not transgender. Just a good-hearted girl cat and still pretty scared because I’ve been through a lot of change. Most cats - guy, girl, or transgender – don’t like change. We like the same food – good food – and the same beds, although we like having more than one sleeping place – depending on our mood – and the weather.”

Because they look like people feet – but – what if they’re really other cats, disguised as people feet? What if they suddenly detach and chase me?”
