Many animals in rescue have a sad story to tell.  Millie's story is a different kind of "sad" though.  You see Millie wasn't neglected, abused, or mistreated.  In fact, she had an amazing home and owners that adored her.  They took her in as a tiny kitten and nursed her back to health.  They loved her, cared for her and fed her all the best food to made sure she would grow to be a healthy happy cat.  She had the life every cat dreams of having.

Sadly, Millie's elderly owners recently passed away and now she finds herself homeless.  She is a stunning 7 year old domestic longhair.  Pictures do not do this beauty justice, she is drop dead gorgeous!  Millie loves to be petted, loves to sun herself, loves to lap sit, and is everything you could ever want in a companion cat.

She's been loved her whole life and it shows.  She has not ever lived with other animals or small children so might do best in a quieter home where she can be someone's one and only.  She would be absolutely perfect for an older couple looking for an easy, sweet, well mannered feline companion.

Millie's one special requirement is that she needs to eat a special diet so she does not get bladder crystals. She is litter box trained and a perfectly well mannered lady. Millie is up to date on all of her shots.

She has been alone in her former owner's home for 2 months now and is anxious for someone to take her in that will love her and who she can love in return.
