“Blackberry, oh Blackberry?  Where are you?  Oh there you are!  How’d you get up there?”  I’m Blackberry, the adventurer and the curious one.  I was one of the first to figure out how to climb on top of the dresser where food is prepared.  I would sit up there with my Mama and taunt the kittens down below.  When I’m awake, I love to hop into my foster caregiver’s lap for some pets and to clean her arm.  I’m not shy at all with new people, either.  I’m probably the most brave and social with visitors!  When it’s nap time, I usually prefer the carrier, though some days I’ll sleep in my foster caregiver’s lap with the rest of my siblings.

I’ve got a good heart, and I take care of the rest of my siblings.  When we’re all sleepy, I will give them a good washing with my tongue.  I tried that with my Mama, but it turned into a licking war between me and her.  She probably won, but that’s not fair; she has a bigger tongue.  I’ve been working really hard on imitating my Mama, Berry.  I think I’ve finally got it!  I mrrrrr-ow-ed to her and she did it back.  We had our own conversation!  Now, I can copy several of her meows.  It’s pretty fun, you know, and I’m starting to talk more and more.

Like the rest of my siblings, I love to play games, wrestle, and play with toys.  Remember though, if you bring me home with one of my BFFs, Strawberry, go out and get some feather wand toys for her.  As for me, I’ll play with pretty much any toy, and I think wrestling is fun, too.

Please adopt me with my sister, Strawberry, my brother, Huckleberry, or my Mama, Berry.  Strawberry is a really good match with personality and I think we’d do very well in a home together!

Blackberry is a young kitten and will need to go to a home where there is another young cat or be adopted with one of his siblings (check out Strawberry or Huckleberry) or his momma Berry so that he has a playmate. For more information about Blackberry, please call Joan at 651-705-6264.
