Do you need your own personal lap warmer? I’m Raspberry, the lap cat. An energetic one, too. I love to play, and I will spend half my time playing in your lap. You might want to wear pants, but I’m usually pretty gentle, and if you keep my claws trimmed, you won’t have a problem at all. When I’m tired, I will curl up in your lap for a nap, or if you are laying down, on your stomach. I love people, and will sleep in visitors’ laps, too!
I’ve got super soft black fur and a rough tongue. I use my tongue for grooming myself, lapping up water, licking your arm, and tasting your pants. I put it to good use! Actually, all of my siblings are big lickers. We’ll all give you licks just to show you how much we appreciate you!
Here are some of the other things I love: litter, my siblings, and empty tissue-box-cars. Litter is really fun to play in. I’m good at running around in it and shoving it around! I also love “helping” out with litter-scooping. Like my brother Huckleberry, I love being pushed around in empty tissue boxes. I love it when I get pushed fast and I feel the “wind” in my fur. I always eat my “car”, too, so make sure you use a lot of tissues.
I’m also very photogenic and the star of the show. When a photographer named Kris came to our house, I was the only one who would actually pose for the camera. I played in front of it and earned myself good pictures. All the rest of my siblings decided that checking out the “studio” was much more interesting.
I love playing with my siblings and I really want to be adopted with one of them. I get along best with my sister Mulberry or my brother Huckleberry. My days to come would be even brighter if either was by my side!
Raspberry is a young kitten and will need to go to a home where there is another young cat or be adopted with one of her siblings (check out Mulberry and Huckleberry) so that she has a playmate. For more information about Raspberry, please call Joan at 651-705-6264.
Raspberry's adoption fee is $135.
