Dog companion extraordinaire!
Olivia is a beautiful, friendly, dog-loving, 5-yr old cat who needs a good home with no other cats. She has a lot of personality (very inquisitive, active, and playful). Her meow is a sweet little trill sound. She is very affectionate (head butts are her favorite, cuddling, kneading, and laying on your lap). This brave girl is quick to adapt to new situations and does not hide when visitors come (she greets and jumps on laps).
Olivia loves dogs a lot!! She connects with dogs and maybe thinks she is one. She does not run away, so is good with chasers. Having claws keeps her safe from more persistent dogs. She has happily lived with many big dogs with different personalities, mostly collies and black lab mixes. Olivia would make a great companion for your dog, while you are away at work.
Olivia was originally rescued from a stray community in Mora MN. She had blood in her urine and was thought to have bladder stones, but none were found during surgery. Like any cat, she should be kept on a high quality diet to avoid future issues. She has never urinated outside of her litter box. She has no other health issues.
BREED: The Turkish Van is a rare and ancient breed that developed in central and southwest Asia. They are very intelligent as well as curious and make very rewarding companions. They have semi-long hair and a unique water resistant coat that tends not to mat. Olivia is likely a mix, as she needs her back end brushed occasionally to avoid mats there.
Olivia was surrendered due to financial issues of her previous owner.
