Hello! My name is Teddy, I’m a big, beautiful. long legged boy with a huge, soft heart. My purr can be heard throughout the house. When I was still bottle feeding, I learned to growl. It only makes me sound fierce… I’m not!! J I also “bubble gum” when I’m very content (tongue partially hanging out and purring, creating a most interesting sound and picture.) Recently, I learned that I could also talk so I am becoming a great conversationalist and love it when you answer me. My fur is jet-black and as smooth as the finest silk. My eyes are gold or occasionally green and I will use them to melt your heart while you cradle me in your arms as I relax into a pile of purring fur.
I’m not the neatest eater because I eat so fast I sometimes have food on my forehead and face. Fortunately, Izzy, Pandora, or Koko, the cockatoo, help me by cleaning the leftovers off my face. Koko often holds “open house” and lets us all climb in her cage, play with her toys, and sometimes she shows us tricks.
I’ve been raised with Izzy and Pandora, my two “sisters” but not from the same litter. They have taught me to be a gentleman and share toys and laps with them. When Izzy or Pandora jumps onto our foster mom, I make room. Though I love them both, I don’t think I could bear to be without my soulmate, Izzy. She has always been much smaller than I am but she’s always hwkd her own with me as we wrestle and romp. We developed a special leaping game with each other. We start at opposite sides of room and run fast towards each other, leaping high in the air when we meet. We never tire of our game. We’ve snuggled with each other since we were only weeks old … and we still do. We both want to be in the same forever home together, forever.
Teddy and his sister Izzy are a bonded pair of kittens and need to be adopted together.
Come visit me in my foster home. I'd love to meet you.
