Hi, I’m Derek. I may look like a furby, but I don’t act like one! I’m very quick on my feet and I hardly ever meow. I can jump really high and catch toys in the air. I like wand toys, balls, mice, and even pieces of cardboard. I enjoy climbing to the top of scratching post and then catapulting off. I am the life of the party. I like to chase my siblings around the room and attack the ends of their tails. I sometimes accidentally sit on them. I can’t help it that I’m so much bigger than them. I’m too busy to do a lot of lounging around, but I do get tired occasionally.
Derek is a young kitten and needs to be adopted to a home with a young cat or with another young kitten so he has a playmate.
Note: Derek is available for pre-adoption. You can meet him in his foster home now, however, since he has yet to be neutered or tested for FeLV/FIV, he cannot go home until after he recovers from his surgery and has been tested (which will be in a few weeks).

The adoption fee for a kitten is $135. If you adopt a pair of kittens from Feline Rescue, the total adoption fee is $250.
