Hi, hi, hi! I am so excited to meet you! My name is Karoo and I am one whole year old. I might have caught your eye on a visit to the shelter as I chased a ping pong ball or wrestled with air. The humans here don't seem to see the air monsters, but no worries, I'll protect them! I'm the gray and white young male with orange eyes and lots of energy, which is handy 'cuz I love to play. Now if only I had someone who'd play with me, I'd be set for life.

My new buddies tell me I should look for something called a "forever home." If you find a "forever home," humans will take you home to be their family, play with you when you find a cool toy, and then cuddle you when you need a nap to recover. Sounds like a dream come true to me so I'm keeping my eye out for just the right ones.

To be honest, I'm thinking I'd prefer the older kind of human. You know, the ones that are tall and know how to talk and walk? They tend to understand my body language the best, which is great because these meows don't always get through to the little ones. Just so you know, I've tested positive for the FeLV, but that only means I'd need a home with other FeLV cats or to be your one and only - believe me, I can love you as much as two or even three cats!
