I've just got to say this: don't skitter away! My name is Skitter because I skitter - except when I wobble - and I certainly don't want you to leave. Oh, no! I want to be noticed - and then adored. Walk into my space, and I will roll my whole self toward you and cheerfully announce, "It's me, it's me, I'm cute, and I want to play." I'm a little bigger than a kitten - and a little smaller than a cat - and definitely still less than a year old. I might grow into catness, but I'll never skitter or scoot or even saunter away from you. Just me, me, and I want to play, play, play.

Yes, you may notice that, sometimes, I wobble a bit. It doesn't bother me or interfere with my spunky, cheerful self. I don't know why I wobble. Don't always - just now and then - maybe my Mom wasn't very healthy. Maybe she didn't have enough food. Don't know - a long time ago in cat time. I am in the here and now, and this is where I want to be. With you! "You! You! You're cute, and you want to play!" Yes! How about that dangly feather toy? Let's play with that. You dangle, I'll grab - and make joyful little sounds - prey-catching sounds. Must practice, just in case.

Aha! It worked. You've noticed my whole self. "Play, play, oh, let's play!" You've noticed my very bright, very yellow, very alert, very smart eyes. They are watching you. They'd like to watch you every day - wouldn't you like to watch me? Bring me feather toys and little crackly mice - oh, that would be splendid - definitely not skittish. Just the cutest, kindest, friendliest little black cat woman you've ever met. And these cute people here at Feline Rescues say that, for a very tiny $100, you will enjoy the joy of taking me home. I'd enjoy that joy, too! It's me! Let's play!

PS: I currently reside at THE SHELTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
