Hi humans! I’m Karen, a fluffy torbie kitty. That means I look mostly like a brown tabby, but you can also catch hints of orange in my fur, like the orange stripe on my nose. Sometimes, in my dreams, I pretend I live in Antarctica and I meet all those penguins and polar bears, and they are all envious of my fluff! Okay, I know they wouldn’t actually do that, but let me dream, will ya? Though, I know in my heart, that I wouldn’t be happy there, because those poor hairless humans wouldn’t stand a chance, and I need them in my life! When Foster Mom comes into my room, I immediately stick my bushy tail in the air, and gaze up at her, hoping for some petting. Sometimes I’ll try to meow at her, too, but I haven’t quite got that down yet, so it’ll usually come out as a squeak. When she pets me, I’ll start my purr. My purr is quiet, just like my voice, but you can feel the vibrations emanating from my sides.

After I’ve gotten an ample amount of petting, it’s play time! My sister, Polly, and I will chase around the ping pong balls and catnip puff balls that lie around our room. And of course, whenever Polly’s not expecting it, I’ll do my butt wiggle and pounce onto her back! I also really love these things called cat springs! And probably the most fun are the toys that come attached to poles that Foster Mom brings in with her. Those actually run away from me and sometimes jump around in the air! Oh and there’s that red dot that I still haven’t captured yet!

You should come visit me! When you get here, I’ll probably have to sniff you out before I allow you to touch my luxurious fur. However, you’ll have to wait until I know you really well before I’ll be cuddly. I might also show you one of my cool talents - I’m really good at standing on my back legs with my front paws tucked in front of me like a prairie dog. It’s really cute! If you decide you want to take me home with you, I have one request: I really want to go home with my sister, Polly! She’s so fun to play with and it’s always nice to have your best friend to snuggle with as you dream of Antarctica, right? Anyway, see ya soon!
