I am Jasper, a chubby black kitten that looks like a little grizzly bear. I was a stray who got trapped and ended up at animal control. I don't know what happened to my family. But here in my foster home I met a new little calico sister. Her name is Freckles, and her story is similar to my own. We are family now and want to be adopted together.

At first I was scared and earned the name "Growly Bear". Now that I can see that no one means to do me any harm, I am sweet.  My growls are replaced by little piggy-like grunts of joy and purrs, when I get petted. My friend Freckles is sweet too. She sometimes still gets scared and will let you know if she needs you to back off or to move a little slower. Slow is good.

We are going to be the best little kitties for the right person or family that knows how to move slow. It will be rewarding to earn our trust and watch us come out of our shells. We get along great with other cats, too. For more info call Molly at 651-295-3758 or email outreach@felinerescue.org.
