It was a cold, gray Saturday. I was living on the streets of St Paul, skinny, and dirty. I saw a door open, and I ran in. I jumped into an open kennel and wolfed down as much food as I could. (Can you blame a guy, it had been ages since I'd eaten last!!) Somehow or other, I'd wandered into a place called Feline Rescue. I have to admit, it's the smartest move I ever made! After they cleaned me up, they found a handsome grey and white tabby. The first few weeks were difficult for me - I had to learn manners, but slowly I started to turn into a pussycat. Some of the volunteers here say I'd look perfect in a black leather jacket and a motorcycle helmet, but that's just an act. You have to act tough on the street, but I like to think of myself as the Marlon Brando type - tough on the outside, softie on the inside. My long-term goal is to find a place of my own with a sunny window and maybe a bit of catnip now and then. A fellow has to have some fun, doesn't he??? Come on down and visit when you get a chance. I'll be sitting in the window, or napping somewhere overhead. My adoption fee is $90.
