Shakey Jakey is the nicest guy. If you meet him, you will see why we wanted to help him! Jakey has had it rough, wandering his neighborhood for years scrapping with the wildlife (and usually losing, from the looks of him). Poor Jakey is sweet and not a fighter. Kind neighbors fed Jakey and allowed him and his family to come and go from the house. But he never got any vet care until now. Jakey is so friendly. Pet him and he will head-butt your hand so hard that he nearly falls over. Jakey is shaky because he was born that way with cerebellar hypoplasia, a non-progressive neurological condition. It doesn't bother him a bit. But it's still a wonder he made it this far on his own.  Jakey walks with an adorable wobble, shaking his tail as he goes. Jakey is now neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and was treated for his battle wounds. He is ready to live an indoor life now. Jakey is a single dad with three kids (Woody, Hudson, and Brooke).
