Oooooh Humans, the humans are here! My name is Janis and in case you hadn't noticed, I'm a kitty on a mission...to have FUN! I'm a 2 year old female cat with brown fur and tabby markings. I'd love to find a home with people to play and spend time with, and be your one and only cat. I've been keeping an eye out for just the right people, and I'm wishing from my nose to the tip of my tail that they'll walk in the Adoption Center any day now! Any chance you are looking for a cat to add to your family? Let me tell you all about myself and we can see if I'm the one for you.

 

I'm known to be an outgoing and affectionate cat. When people walk in, I'm ready to greet them and chat them up. I've never been much for hiding under the bed or the sofa (unless it's for a game). I'm much more likely to be chasing the invisible monsters in the room or inspecting whatever boxes or bags you might have around to see if there's anything in there for me. I bet we'd have lots of fun together! We could try catching that crazy red dot or wrestle with ribbons. Having someone to play with is so much more interesting than playing all by myself! I'm not all go-go-go all the time though. In fact, nap time is probably my second-most favorite time of day. I can be quite the snuggly kitty and would love it if my human would make room on their lap for me when we have down time. We could settle in for a nap on the couch or watch that noisy box you humans seem to love so much. It isn't easy for a young cat to be on her own, and I really am hoping that I can find someone I can bond with and rely on. Do you think that could be you?
