Hello there, I'm Jamima Puddle Duck - Ms. Puddle Duck to the young kitties around here, but you can call me Jamima. I'm a female tabby with pretty, light brown fur and yellow-green eyes. I used to have a home and a family, but one day they decided to move.  I guess there wasn't any room for me, because one minute I was snoozing happily in my bed, and the next minute I'd been dumped outside. It hasn't been an easy transition for me to go from a familiar home with my own space to having to live with all these other cats. I'm 11 years old now, and I never thought I'd have to go without a family and a home at this point in my life. The humans here keep telling me not to worry and that my forever family is out there somewhere, a family that would never leave me behind.  I'm trying so hard to believe that.  I miss having someone there to rub my head and to talk to. It's the little things that hit you the hardest, you know? Like rubbing against an ankle as I walk by and knowing that they'll reach down to pat me, or snuggling in next to someone and knowing that they'll make room for me. I miss all those things so much. If I could just find a family who will give me a chance, I know I can win them over! I'm waiting as patiently as I can, so if you think you might be the right ones for me, please come and find me soon!
