Hi! Nellie here. So here I am, ready to find the next chapter in my life. I’m looking for a home with nice people where I can be the only cat; I prefer to have my people all to myself. I am super sweet and gentle. I roll over for belly rubs and love to be cuddled like a baby, and I love to chase toys. I’ll sit next to you or on your lap while you read or watch TV, or better yet, talk to me and tell me how wonderful I am. My foster mom says I have really good manners – no litter box accidents, and I’m good about using my scratching pads and posts. I love attention, but if you are busy, I can also entertain myself really well.

One other thing that’s really important – I’ve had a brush with diabetes. I don’t need insulin now, but they call me “non-insulin-dependent diabetic.” That means that I need to be fed good food (no kibble for me!) and have people who will monitor me and take good care of me.
