Hello, my name is Atticus. I am a small orange cat with defined striping throughout my body (it’s really cute!). I used to be very shy and would only come out for meal time. As I have become more comfortable in my foster home I started exploring and now I retire to my hiding places only for nap time. Though I had no interest in play when I first came inside, as it turns out, I love to play! I found the basket where my foster human keeps the cat toys and I like to climb in there and pull out several toys at a time to bat and pounce. My favorite game is to chase wand toys. I love leaping in the air and catching flying “birds”. Each day I become more and more brave, but I am still a bit cautious around people, especially new people. My adopter will need to be patient with me as it may take some time for me to adapt to my new surroundings. My brother Thackeray is very brave so hopefully he will help me feel strong in my new home. When I am sleepy, my foster mom can pick me up and I will sit on her lap and purr for HOURS. When I am awake, I tend to run from touch. I have met children, and think older respectful ones might be okay. A quiet home is where I will best succeed. I am a good eater and always use the litter box.
Atticus and his brother Thackery are a bonded pair and need to be adopted together. To learn more about this adorable pair, call Joan at 651-705-6264 or submit an online adoption inquiry form.
Their combined adoption fee is $220.
