Hi! My name is Gene or sometimes people call me Gene Jr.  (more about that later!).  Sometimes I like to put on my tough guy fur and act like I'm a feral cat, but my foster mom says I'm not feral at all even though I come from living all of my 3 years in the rough and tumble world of an outdoor cat.  My foster mom says playing, being pet and kissed is all what the indoor cat life is all about.  I tend to agree but I don't like to always let foster mom know I find it okay too.  I do however appreciate a warm home, a soft bed and regular meals.  When I lived outside I never knew where my next meal would come from even though the nice elderly man whose property I lived on did his best to feed all of us outdoor cats.  Earlier in my bio I said that sometimes people call me Gene Jr.  Well that's because the nice, elderly man I mentioned before his name was Gene.  He recently passed away while trying to take care of us this winter and so my foster mom thought it would be fitting to name me after him once I was trapped and brought inside. If you come and meet me I will do my best to show you how well adjusted I am to the indoor life -- but just in case I'm feeling like a tough guy when you visit, please let my foster mom tell you all about how she hugs and kisses me.  I find it a bit embarassing but what can I say I love her too!  Come visit me in my foster home. I'd love to meet you.
