Hello humans!  My name is Dashman and I’m a male 1-2 year old cat.  I have black fur with a white bib and socks.  I may have had a rough start in life, but I still feel like a super lucky cat since I’m getting a second shot at life.  You see, on Christmas Eve, I found myself with nowhere to go and I was wandering all by myself.  It was brittle cold with a fierce wind but somehow I managed to find a house up on a farm.  I got up onto the porch to look for a warm spot to huddle in when suddenly these nice humans opened the door.  I figured that must count as an invitation and walked right in!  My life hasn’t been the same since.  The humans fed me, got me cleaned up, and best of all, helped me find a place at Feline Rescue so I could find a forever home.

I’m definitely a gentle giant, all purrs and kisses.  My rescuer even nicknamed me “Cuddle Bug” because I’m about as snuggly and loving as a cat can get.  I’m hoping to find a family that will appreciate my sweet side (and not be chintzy with the head rubs.)  When I’m not rolling over for people to rub my belly, I love to play with toys.  My absolute favorite toy is the big peacock feather, but I’m happy to try whatever you’d like to play with!  I’d do great in a house with other cats if you have them or on my own if you’d prefer to shower all your affection on just me.
