Hello humans! I’m Manfred Mann and I’m looking for an awesome human or two to hang with for life. I’m a male cat with medium-long black fur and yellow-green eyes. I had a decent start to life and even had a real home for a while. Unfortunately the family I lived with went out one day with all their stuff. I waited outside for them for as long as I could, but eventually I realized they were gone and weren’t coming back for me. I was out on the streets for a while and couldn’t understand what I’d done wrong. Thankfully, some kind humans found me and brought me to Feline Rescue. They cleaned me up, got me fed and healthy. I’m so happy to have loving humans around again. It’s a bit scary to take a chance on another family, but I still have hope that there is someone out there who would never want to give me up!

I’m around 5 years old and am known around the Adoption Center for being a good-natured friendly cat. I like to wander around during visiting hours to rub against people’s legs and get petted. When the traffic settles down, you’ll usually find me stretching out on a blanket or one the shelves. Basically anywhere where I can be near the humans as they do their work. I get along pretty well with the other cats am pretty passive. I do still enjoy playtime and love chasing bottle caps and ping pong balls when I can find a human to play with me. I’d love to have a family again that will rub my head and let me snuggle up to them while they read or watch tv. I have a cat bed and plushies here at the Center, but it’s just not the same! If you think I might be the cat for you, you should definitely get down here and meet me in person. I’d love a chance to win you over!
