Folks, I am the Real Deal - the essence of Cat. When you imagine Cat, you imagine me - Walt. Not Walt Disney, not Walt Whitman, not your speechifying right-wing Uncle Walt, not Waldo, just Pure Walt. I am the Real Deal. Take a look at these feet - the color of every set of cougar feet you've ever seen in National Geographic - sure enough. And some real tiger stripes on my legs even! I am cousin to the cougar and the tiger, as feline as one can be. I like it in my cougar den, but I need to be out and about prowling - and purring - in some good human home - where I can pounce a green-striped mouse with a bell in its tail.

People, I say I am the Real Deal. I am the Cat of every fantasy adventure any human ever wrote. I could be a film, a song, an entire festival of Cat. I am street-wise and street-smart. Yes, I've been around. I know what's out there. I am all-round smart and quite alert. One survives the streets by being alert. I know many things for a young guy. Whatever is out there - if it's friendly, I'm friendly.

Come on over here and see how friendly I am. I'm watching you, hoping you're friendly. Scratch my big tabby head - ooh, friendly. First, I knead the sides of my cave with all four feet, my way of saying, "I'm happy. I like people who scratch my head." Ah, but then I emerge from my den, and I roll over to give you a very friendly nudge and make sure you notice my spring green eyes. That means, "Scratch my neck, too." Very nice. More, please. "Hey, don't stop - it's your job to stay here and make Walt happy!"

I'm so happy that I need to purr. No, that's not a Harley - that's me purring. Told you I was cousin to the cougar. Told you I was the Real Deal. The Cat. Big. Tabby. Smart. Oh - and I guess I stole my tail from some raccoon. Nice rings. I wanted it. Don't you want Walt, the Cat that comes with the tail? The Big House Cougar who purrs like a Harley? I'm quite marvelous; that's what I say. I am a Lover Boy. I'm the Real Deal. The Deal is only $100. Hurry on down.
