Gwendolyn is a curious, playful kitten and is starting to really love getting people attention! She is definitely the most mellow kitten of this litter and tends to follow the lead of the other kittens around, and really feeds off of their energy! She is learning to jump up and love us and I think will make a fabulous lap cat after a while! She comes to bed with us every night and is never too far from whatever we’re doing. She adores laser light and really anything you can toss (fish, crinkle balls, etc), although seems to prefer chasing other kittens (or being chased) to many toys. She does seriously love the circle ball toys (like this)! She is currently living with quite a few adult cats, a large dog and a slew of littermates and seems to do well with most. She loves some of my adult cats, although I have a few that aren’t afraid to put her in her place either and she takes cues well. She tends to give them space, but loves to cuddle with whoever she can find. She is just about the gentlest kitten ever – she never uses her claws and is so tentative/cautious about biting or scratching! She’s so cute! J Because Gwen is a little more shy, I would love for her to end in a forever home that has a fairly confident cat that can help show her the ropes. She would love to be adopted with one of her remaining littermates, but should flourish in any environment.

Gwen and her littermates actually came from a farm situation – she was live-trapped in a hayloft, along with her siblings, during a Trap-Neuter-Release project. She was trapped very young, but sometimes still has some hesitations about new people. She’s made huge strides since coming off the farm but might be a little shy or nervous for the first few days of a transition. She should bounce-back to her funny, quirky, cute self pretty quickly!

Gwendolyn is a young kitten. She will need to go to a home where there is another young cat or be adopted with another kitten so that she has a playmate. To learn more about this kitten, submit an online adoption inquiry form.

The adoption fee for a kitten is $135. If you adopt a pair of kittens from Feline Rescue, the total adoption fee is $250.
