About Gin Gin and Kit | |

Hello, there – people! I am Gin Gin, and Kit is my mom. She's the last picture to the right. We have a story to tell – and a heartfelt request.
Our story: I’ve been with Feline Rescue since I was a little bitty kitten. As you can see – notice my recent photo – I’m not a wittlebitty kitten any more, although I’ve left a kitten picture to the right - with my sister Willa - so you can see how cute I was – and am. I’m now a wonderful adult cat woman with special ginger girl markings. Almost tabby but not quite. A lapful of soft Dreamsicle ice cream would be a good way to think of me – because I do like to be a lapful. So mom Kit and me came to be rescued with my dear sisters Rococo and Willa. They were little bitty kittens, too.
Momma Kit raised us to be rather wary. When your children are small and you’re all alone, you’re just wary – and with lots of good reasons. Momma Kit doesn’t say much. She’s the dearest tabby mother with the roundest face and very white patches. She watches over her girls, even though some of us – like me – are now bigger than she. She still watches. She’s a great Momma.
But we’ve all learned, in over two years at Feline Rescue foster homes, that most people are wonderful – really wonderful – and offer up love and food and toys and even big delicious clumps of kitty grass. See me with my sisters Willa and Rococo – and the grass? Are we happy women! Do excuse me (and Momma, too) if, at first, we just give you The Look – the one that means, “Uh, oh, girls – it’s a new human. Check it out carefully.” We all do it – me, Momma Kit, Rococo, and Willa. But, once we’ve checked you out – and found you to be real, friendly, and given to saying, “Awww….aren’t you a nice lady!”, we will issue our heartfelt request:
Please take us home with you forever and ever. Two by two – or even four by four – we’ve been together so long – we’ll be much happier – and so will you – if we can stay together. Gin Gin and Kit or Gin Gin and Rococo or Kit and Willa or however best at least two of us might blend beautifully into your life – and your lap(s). We do laps. Two cats – one lap. Two laps – a cat for each. Whatever our people want. We’re easy and loving. Watch me roll over, look up at you with big eyes, and flirt. Can’t say no, can you? Here we are, Gin Gin – that’s me, Momma Kit, Rococo and Willa. Two for the price of two - $100 each. We’re going home – to the place where we belong! Your place!
PS: I currently reside at THE SHELTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
