Well, well, well - are you someone worth waking up for? I am an exceptionally handsome young fellow who needs plenty of beauty rest so as to continue to grow into the most fabulous furry guy ever. I hear nice talk - good people sounds directed to me! I think it's my opportunity to rise and shine. Ha! I surprised you, didn't I? You thought you were talking to an ordinary, medium-sized white and orange cat.  Then I stood up. I heard you - "Oh, my goodness, look at those long legs and that sleek, long cat figure! He's not a cat; he's just a BIG kitten!"
Yes, Gimlet is special. He is a true Crown Prince. He tries to remember to speak of himself in the third person because that is what royalty must do. You'll know that he is first in line to an important throne by his style and his aristocratic face. His deep orange eyes glow as he awakens. They are jewels in the day - and in the night.
Sorry, I just can't handle the prince act. I may be one - OK, I am - but could we just talk cat to person, person to cat? Good. Now then, I put my legs on your shoulders and try very hard to persuade you that, even though there's a sign right in front of me that says "Do Not Let Out", I should be allowed out.  Why? Because there's stuff here that needs exploring, that's why. And because, if I'm out, I can do the leg rub - cat twines around legs of human and says, "I think I love you." Please?
I think you'd better come see me in person - I mean, in cat. Face to face. Can't believe my eyes, right? You will, though, when we go home together - after you graciously pay my $100 fine for taking some claws to that offensive sign. I am Gimlet. I am special. You want to come into my realm. Yes, you do.
