Little girlish girly girl, that's what everybody says when they meet me. I'm Olivia, I'm little, and, yes indeed, I am proud to be a girl. Remember, if you will, Melanie Wilkes in "Gone With the Wind". She was so sweet, so kind, such a contrast to the fiery Scarlett - but, underneath it all, she had strength and common sense. Now, do you remember that Olivia de Havilland played Melanie? Do you think it's a coincidence that I am also Olivia? Well, of course not, Scarlett dear!

I am told that I was found here, at the front door, in a box. A box with a picture of cooking pots on it! Can you imagine? At least, I wasn't in a pot. That would have been scary - and I am not usually a scaredy-cat.
I am, however, grey, very grey, and mellow, very mellow. Like Olivia as Melanie, I am kind and sweet, and I don't fly around making big noise like some cats around here. If you are seeking peace and quiet, I am your girly girl cat. I want nothing more than gentle love - except good food, warm blankets, and a litter box. I may be a little lady, but I am also honest. Litter box matters!

Let me show you gentle. I softly walk toward you and sniff you just a bit. That's how we cats learn who you really are - and who you are not. Now I rub your hand - have you ever felt anyone so puffy fluffy, almost like feathers? This is good; I like this work. I sit down and cuddle up to your hand. Please take your other hand and pet me as softly as I am petting you. See how easy it is? Could we do this for a long while? Could we do this forever at your place? Would you offer grey, mellow, sweet, fluffy, puffy girlish girly girl me - Olivia - a home, home, home? $100 pays my rent for the time I've spent here at Feline Rescue. The folks here are good and kind, but I'm ready for my forever people.
