Good morning, people. I am your new Chief Financial Officer. I will be keeping this outfit profitable and, yes, I will be auditing your travel expenses. How much attention I pay to whether you fly cattle car or first class will depend entirely on how much you pet me, talk to me, tell me what a handsome tabby executive I am, and bring me good food. If you can do all that well, I will love to go home with you - and I just probably won't find the time to notice that you seem to have bought a new iPhone with company money.

Yes, I'm a finance gal - no point in pretending I'm not - my quite short, rather military, tabby camouflage gives me away. It would be those long-furred folks with the tousled ears who are sculptors and film producers. Not Hayden. Hayden wears conservative skirts always below her knees. Hayden wears only beige, brown, and black with minor orange accents. Hayden does not wear cerise or turquoise. Hayden is your CFO. If I weren't declawed, I would have grown up to be a Colonel or a General - but one can't lead the troops without any front line weapons. So here I am - dignified, sweet, mellow, quiet - and very much in charge of business.

See? I purr quite seriously when you talk to me - and pet me - and comment about how supersoft my fur is. I don't need fabric softener. I come by my luxurious coat naturally, and - can you tell - I am proud of it. Your home office needs my responsible, helpful, tabby woman presence. You'll be so much more organized, productive, and secure with genuine Hayden assistance and guidance. If allowed to do so, I'll even keep your feet warm. So how about it? Winter may be coming - and my $100 salary is less than the price of a good electric blanket. We CFOs know these things. Please step right up and take me home to join your team!
