Why, I do believe you need a shaggy cat in your life! Indeed you do! I am not merely a shaggy cat story; I am a whole shaggy cat. Exactly what shagginess and a lopsided ear and the biggest, most open feline heart ever have do to with pasta sauce, I have no idea. Some human saw a connection - and I must admit that, although I've no idea why, the name Ragu quite suits me.

The people here at Feline Rescue tell me I just showed up at their front door one day. Well, I have a plan - next stop is your front door. And then I'm walking through and settling down and settling in and becoming your very own very forever Cat! Shaggy Cat, of course. What do you get? Non-stop kitty love, that's what. I purr to you. I roll my great lion head down on your hands. I look into your eyes and say, "How could you possibly not love me back? I am Ragu, and I am Kitty Love extraordinaire."

Still thinking about it? Something else you should know - I am smart and studious and alert. I sit here now and watch the people walking by. I learn about them by seeing their steps and motions. People aren't nearly shaggy enough - you all would be warmer in winter if you were. Shag it up with Ragu! How about it? What!! That orange fellow just yelled at me. How rude. But I am smart and wise and dignified, and I shall not yell back. I shall, however, let out with a Shaggy Yeehaw! when you arrive with your $100 to adopt me and take me home. C'mon now - it's the right thing to do!
