I've barely been here three weeks, and I'm already Famous Dave. Am I the BBQ king? Maybe. But that's not what I'm famous for, although I have been adding my special sauces to California Natural Turkey & Salmon and attracting attention. As soon as I arrived here, I charmed and posed until the humans understood that I was Feline Rescue's Poster Cat of the Year. Trouble was the humans thought it would be cute to show me in jail. And they sang, "He's in the jailhouse now, he's in the jailhouse now, we told him once or twice to quit playin' cards and shootin' dice, he's in the jailhouse now."

I showed them! Dave is quite orange, reasonably loud, unbelieveably friendly, and has an excellent tail. Dave is big. Dave is smart. Dave strategizes. Dave is young. Dave escaped! Even without front claws, Dave escaped. Yes, he did! Dave, you see, is an adventurer. Professional adventurer - grad student of Indiana Jones. Pretty soon a Ph.D even! Listen up - this is important. There are major Mayan ruins in Feline Rescue's ceiling! I went up there. I found them. Priceless treasures in the sacred cenote! Really - please tell Indy before it's too late.

Dave loves people. He sings to get your attention. Then he puts his long, long legs on your shoulder and purrs. He draws Mayan hieroglyphs on his litterbox. He is amazing. He does not care for other cats. They are curious creatures but have no sense of adventure. Dave also hates snakes - learned that from Professor Jones. No snakes. Only cat toys, catnip, and priceless ancient treasures. Dave is not an everyday cat. He is famous, a star, a legend in his time. He needs a home. Your home. Maybe there are Mayan ruins under your bed? Wonderful. Your $100 takes Dave home to find them. Dave is ready. He is famous!
