People, you are about to fall in love. Get ready. Here I am. I am Ozzie, and I, in no way whatsoever, resemble Ozzy Osbourne - nor Sharon Osbourne, for that matter. I am a Cat, a handsome, loving, mellow, quiet orange and white Cat - and Ozzy Osbourne, well, I don't know what he is. One thing he and I do have in common - if a live bat presented itself to me, I likely would bite its head off. But, if that bat were in your house, I expect you'd be pleased with me for doing so.
Get ready. Here comes the fun, exciting part. Not only am I handsome, loving, mellow, and quiet, I have extra toes. Noticeable extra toes. People call guys like me snowshoe cats and Hemingway cats. The proper term is "polydactyl". It means "many toes". I am told my extra toes are fascinating to see and that they possibly represent the beginnings of opposable thumbs in the Feline Nation - which, of course, means that we Felines will soon take over the planet and see to it that you humans behave yourselves. If you adopt me and take me home - which you are going to do, you can hang a sign on your doors - "Beware of Polydactyl". Your friends will be curious, and the salespeople will go away - quickly.
But that's not really what Ozzie is about. Ozzie is about love. It's all he wants, all he needs, all he has to give. He had people, and he loved them. But the family got too big for Ozzie, so he came back to Feline Rescue, where he once bunked as a kitten, to find a smaller, less complicated place - one that's all about love for a big orange and white guy who loves people, especially people who tickle his chin and softly rub his ears and do a little belly rub when he looks at them with big cat boy eyes. Ozzie loves - you love Ozzie. Do bring $100 over to Feline Rescue so Ozzie can check out and go home with you for love. You're going to love me - and love my fancy feet, especially the fancy feet.
PS: I currently reside at THE SHELTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
