Heroine for Your Novel

I am a novel, a story, a heroine. What else could I be? A striking cat woman who will catch your eye without ever saying a word. Every now and then I have a word to say, but I say it quietly and profoundly. I am woman, but I do not roar. You will know that I am wise as well as stunning and that, somewhere along the way, my front claws disappeared.

My name, I think, is about my colors. I am the colors of a Snickers bar, of cookies made of Snickers bars, of just about all colors that a long-haired cat woman might have. And I am soft and well-groomed and very much desiring a special home for the special me, the heroine that I am. You may pet me and talk to me, and I will enlighten you with the secret words of a very fine cat - me!

Imagine my picture on the cover of a book, sitting serenely, with dignity and wisdom, upon a turquoise cushion. Imagine opening this book and seeing more pictures of me, leaping and stretching and peering from behind chairs and sneaking up on sneakers and having adventures that you may share. I am a story for younger people who seek heroines and a story for older people who seek a bit of wisdom. I am Snickerdoodle, and I am waiting here for you - my people. They say I came out of the woods into a nice woman's yard and told her the stories of my journeys and adventures. I have come here to continue my tale (not tail) with you.
