Once upon a time, six teeny kittens and one beautiful mama were in danger of losing their lives at a crowded animal control facility. Luckily, Feline Rescue found a foster home for the one-day-old babies and their teenaged mother.
For being such a young mom, Olive took great care of her kittens (Chili, Jelly, Pinto, Lima, Lentil, and Garbanzo). She's such a friendly cat that sometimes she was more interested in visiting her human friends than doing her demanding mama-job.
She still gets along great with all her kittens, and she looks out for them. Her foster parents have seen her hunt down toys and proudly present them to her kittens to play with.
Olive coexists peacefully with the resident cats and dog at her foster home, and she's extremely friendly with all human visitors. She's very social, and she likes to be held, petted, and brushed.
Olive's beautiful, medium-haired, black coat (which can look chocolate brown in some places) and gorgeous green eyes make her a sight to be seen.
Olive would love to be adopted with one of her kittens, but she would do well in any house with other cats for her to befriend.
If you'd like to visit Olive, please call Joan at 612-702-9636. Her adoption fee is $100.
