So there I was, just walking down the street, efficiently intending to attend to my business, when up came some humans and said to me, "Sir, it's really not a good idea for striped orange fellows with lightly tufted ears to be out strolling all alone. There have been reports of a cougar in these parts. It could eat you, you know. Or worse, some hysterical human could think you're it - tufted ears and all."

I said, "Good humans, I appreciate your concern - but cougars don't have tufted ears. That would be bobcats. And I am clearly no bobcat - see, I have a fine full striped tail!" What a fellow puts up with for being friendly and curious and, alas, also talkative. I've been living next door to Brutus for several days, and we have pretty much sorted out and solved most of the world's problems - encouraged some of our feline colleagues to create some new problems, too.

So here I am, friendly, curious, talkative, sniffing about, and willing to be held, carried, and petted. I explain myself a bit. I'm not actually French, and my true name isn't André. It's Angus, and I'm a Scots auto mechanic. Actually own my own shop, I do, and I am good at fixing and solving problems. Why the alias and disguise? Ah, me, that's a long story. Why don't you just adopt me, take me home? I'll curl up next to you, maybe in your lap, maybe on your feet, and I'll explain the rest of me. You may call me André or Angus or Dude or Big Kitty or Horace or....As they say, "Just Call Me!"

I want to be somebody's Cat! Correction: I want to be Your Cat! $100 from you will cover my room and board for the last several days. I fix things. I solve problems. I am friendly. I am happy. I am Your Cat - no doubt about it!
