Hello! Hello! It's not just my spicy, almost-Siamese, colors that earned me the name Cardamom. I also achieved it because I am sugar and spice and everything nice - and never so much as one puppy dog tail or snail in the mix. Come see me, come talk to me, come hold me and pet me, and you'll know. And you'll know that I'm going home with you for ever and ever. I am - really!
Cardamom - the sweet spice, not me - grows in Asia - in warm, spicy places. In warm, spicy places, it is good to be still, to meditate, and simply tune in to all that is. That's what I'm doing right now while you're holding me. I rest my small, smart brown head on your arm. I purr. You could, I think, carry me around all day. We both could meditate and tune in to warm, spicy peace.
Of course, eventually, I will need to wake up and do a little exploring. See, exploring makes us interesting. If we don't find new stuff, we all - cats and people alike - get pretty boring and bland. And I, Cardamom the Cat, am neither boring nor bland. Bring that pink mouse over here and find out. Ha! Shall I grab it and kick it? Ha!
I really am everything nice, sugar and spice. I wash myself quite carefully. I am neat - and always clean. If, by chance, you are Finnish - even just a little bit, you'll know what a wonderful addition Cardamom is for any home. How about you add me to yours? I know my sign says "Stray" - but that's a typo. It should say "Spicy" or "Sweet" or both. Only $100 in warm, peaceful money gets me into your life. You'll feel peaceful and spicy - and so will I. Hold me. Listen to my Purr. It is Good.
