He owns just one Armani suit, but one is all he needs. Of Siamese design, well-executed, with the softest fine fur. Fancy Dan walks tall, stands up straight, takes long in-charge strides, holds his head high, and communicates confidence.

 

Fancy Dan is mellow, speaks softly and only when he has something wise to say. “I prefer to study the situation, getting to know the nuances,” he says, “before making any rash decisions.” “Some situations, of course, such as the sudden presence of a green catnip mouse, don’t require study – just immediate C level action.” When among those he leads, he sits tall, with his tail perfectly turned about his feet.

 

“I am pleased,” he says, “that people recognize my considerable presence. It is true that, when I walk into a room, people stop and look. They may not know who I am, but they know that I look important and self-collected. What I would really like, though, would be people who will recognize that this take-charge guy would really rather purr and play than go around making big decisions all day.”

 

“C level to me means Cat Level. I’d be quite happy as Chief Toy Officer, Chief Food Officer, Chief Sleeping Officer. Oh, if you insist, I could be an excellent Chief Technology Officer, too, I suppose, but I’m told that cat hair, even fine Siamese Armani cat hair, is not good for electronic devices. Other than that, there’s just not much of anything that’s not excellent about me. That’s the truth. I am wise, smart, young, and strong. A pure asset to any enterprise that makes me an offer.
