Think Dreamsicle - because I look like one - and I'm dreamy. I am soft, sweet, mellow, and relaxed. And I am totally thrilled because you, a human, are noticing me. Oh wow! I think you might be a miracle - a people to love. Let me show you how I love people. First, I roll over, stretch myself out - notice the well-designed tabbyish tail, please. Then I look up at you and take you in, My, my - you are a real person - and I think you want to be my friend. I'd like a friend, maybe two even. Oh, yes, I would.

My name? I honestly don't know. I certainly don't swear like a sailor. I hardly talk at all, except for purring, of course. I don't like spinach, and I won't eat it, so don't put it in my bowl. I've heard there's a cat named Olive around here, but I've never met her - and she's certainly not my girl friend. But I'd rather be Popeye than Orange Tabby #26, so I'm good with it.

Yes! Pick me up and let me hang over your shoulder and show off my greatest skill. I relax people. Feel yourself relaxing? Carry me, pet me, I purr, you relax. And you think, "Wonderful cat fellow, where have you been all my life? We need to go home together and keep this going." We can do that!

I have other talents you'll like, too. I sit on laps. I amuse. I explore things and sniff. Sniff, sniff....hmmm - interesting. I'll play with toys that resemble real cat prey. Now, this thing's got feathers! I'd better put my mouth around it, just it case it thinks to fly. Tastes more like a dust bunny than chicken. Oh, well.

I am kind. I am tranquil. I love. You love. You relax. I relax. We are cat and person, cat and people. It is good. I am orange and white and dreamy. I am all you need for a perfect life. True - because I, Popeye, say so. So just bring your $100 over to Feline Rescue, pick me up, let me drape over your shoulder and survey the world. Doesn't that just feel good? Yes!
