We're sister and brother - big surprise! We know you need cat quality eyesight to tell us apart. I'm Gretel, and I do all the talking - and most of the mischief designing. But don't sell my brother Hansel short. He's quiet and has nice manners, but, remember,the wicked witch was going to cook him. You'd be a little reserved, too, after that!  I had to shove the wicked witch in the oven to save him. And her house was gingerbread - whatever that is - not mouse mousse as we'd been told. Terrible.

So: here we are, and we're looking for a real home - built of wood or bricks or stucco or something that a big bad wolf can't huff and puff and blow down. Oh, wait - that's a different story. Sorry. We're teenagers, almost old enough to vote but not quite. We are smart. We are curious. We have very gold eyes. We are also soft and cuddly - at least we're cuddly until we see something that demands exploration or chasing or a good batting around. We look like Dreamsicles in fog - beige and peachy and white - and Hansel has a white ski trail down the middle of his back. Don't ski on him, please! I love him!

You will love him, too. You will also love me. Come on in here and play with us. We are playful folks. Watch me flip this fake mouse - whee! Whee! "Oops, sorry, Hansel, didn't mean for it to land on your head." (Actually, I did - he needs to get in the game here. He's been sticking his paws and legs out at that grey sass next door. He needs to focus on getting us a home.)

So, people, I'm moving in to close the sale. See how cutely I cock my little head and long ears and look at you? See how dignified and serene Hansel is? See in your mind how it would be to have us greet you every morning, amuse you every night, tell you stories, charm you with mischief. Wonderful! Very wonderful. People, just bring $200 and home we all go - forever and ever. We're a bargain in need of love and a home. We don't ever want to be lost in the woods again. One more time: see how cute we are? You do. You do.
