“I put my right foot in, I put my right foot out;
I put my right foot in, and I shake it all about.
I do the Hokey-Pokey, and I turn myself around.
That's what it's all about!”
Yes, it’s me, Jamie, doing the Hokey-Pokey, as much to entertain me as to entertain you. Come right up and put your left foot in, put your left foot out, put your left foot in and shake it all about! We are having fun, aren’t we? One of the best things about being a cat instead of a human, I think, is that I’ve got four feet to put in and put out and shake all about. Oh, I know, people use their hands, but it’s not the same!
My dainty girly sister Sheila prefers waltzes and minuets. But I’m a strong, occasionally loud, serious, mostly black, tomgirl cat, and I do the Hokey-Pokey. Also the Texas Two-Step and Cotton-Eyed Joe. But no waltzing for this tuxedo girl. I love my sister – but she’s such a princess.
Me, Jamie, I play. Got toys? Got feathers? Got little purple mice with shiny ears? Jamie hopes you do. I’m as friendly as can be, and I want my people. We know we had people, but they had to move. So did we – to Feline Rescue – where both Sheila and I are hoping to find – and soon – Forever People, not just Temporary People.
When I get out of here, I am going to run from one end of the room to the other. Then I am going to do it again. And each time I reach a wall, I am going to jump in the air and yell, “Meeahh! Yeehaw!” That’s the kind of cat girl I am. How could you not want this complete bundle of tuxedo excitement and love and entertainment in your life? I’m never boring – and I’m charming.
Jamie performs for your attention. Jamie washes her face carefully, so that you will see that she is clean, even in her wild moments. Jamie also washes her face to call attention to the sassy white blaze on her black nose. Got it from a great horse. Yes I did. Are you ready? Just $100 takes me to your place; another $100 if you ask Sheila to come along. And – you know what we’re going to do at your place, don’t you? Of course. The Hokey-Pokey!
Sheila and I currently reside at the Adoption Center. If you can't stop by but would like to know more about us, please call 651-642-5900 ext 3. Thanks!
