Good morning. Good afternoon. Meow! Meeaw! However you say it, it’s a good day for meeting an outgoing teenage girl with just a slight streak of kitten mischief still in her soul. Good evening, I’m Sparky – if my name suggests a goodhearted, funloving girl, it would be suggesting the right girl. I’m young. I’m sassy. And I don’t miss a thing. I certainly didn’t miss you, did I? You walked in, and I saw you – and I said, “Meeaw! Come talk to me!”

 

Yes, I’m the latest of the black and white folks here at Feline Rescue, but I don’t see my outfit as a tuxedo. It’s more like a choir robe, I think. However, I’m no longer a member of the choir; the pastor did not appreciate my Janis Joplin-style rendition of “Rock of Ages”. Want to hear it? Gee, why not….

 

Listen, I really like people. If you’d rather hear me purr, I can do that, too. I’ll take a gentle belly rub, but then I need to move, move, move – shake, rattle, and roll my tail. Not ready to slow down, but I am ready to perform. A performer needs an audience. These other cats around here don’t want to be my audience, but I’ll just bet you do. Like I said, I don’t miss a thing, and I am picking up the definite thought that you’d just love to take me home and watch my dance.

 

“Oh, meeaw!” In addition to my sass and charm and delightful patter, Sparky offers you her excellent fashion sense. She sits on the red blanket with pink hearts, not on the blue one. The red does so much more for my presentation of self. I’ve got some toys here – notice that I toss and chew and delicately hold only the red mouse. The white one just burrows into my fur, doesn’t show me off at all well.

 

OK – finally notice my sweet precise beauty spot right at the end of my nose. Isn’t it cute? Aren’t I cute? “Meeaw! Let’s go home and dance. Want to dance? Sparky does.” Good, good day for this totally charming girl to go home with you. $100 brings a permanent ticket to my shows – and brings me home with you – which is where I really want to go. How about it? A very good Sparky Day!
