I am not a Chipmunk, and I don’t sing. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let me explain truth. I am a Cat – a fine, friendly black cat. I am a fine, friendly Black Lover Cat. Come over here so I can put my head on your shoulder. Come over here and do head bumps with me. I know, “People do fist bumps. Not Alvin. Alvin does head bumps. If you’re one of those tall people, please bring your head down to my size.”
“See? Isn’t Alvin just about the nicest, friendliest, finest head-bumping black lover cat guy you’ve ever met? Of course he is.” He says so. I’m quiet and well-mannered. All I’ve ever done – and almost all I know how to do – is give out love. Love to people. Love to all creatures if they’ll let me. Well, except maybe mosquitoes; I think they are a mistake. Got to be.
Alvin likes to play – that’s one of my secrets. Waggle that feathery cat toy around! Yes! Yeehaw! I trap it. I swat it. I chew it! Yeehaw! Wouldn’t have expected that from such a quiet fellow, huh? Are you ready for the Big Secret of Alvin, the nicest, friendliest, finest head-bumping black lover cat guy ever? Here it is: Alvin dances. Not just simple stuff like waltzes or free-form street dancing. No, ma’am. Alvin does the tango. Alvin does the cha-cha. Put on a little Argentine swing and bring your castanets. Alvin dances. Alvin loves to dance. Wave that feather thing again! It’s Alvin’s boa – cha cha cha!
So we’re bumping heads and dancing and having a good, good time – how about you offer up $100 and take me home? What’s the money for? You didn’t suppose those feathered boas were donated by birds, did you? We must pay. Come over here and do head bumps. Take me home and do more head bumps. Bring me toys. I like toys. I like you even better!
PS: I currently reside at THE ADOPTION CENTER (not in foster care). If you can't stop in but would like to know more about me, please call 651-642-5900, ext.3. Thanks!
